A Special Christmas Song!

This past summer 73 yr.
old John Schamante presented his daughter, Anita Irons, with a poem that he had written at the age of 13 for a Modern Literature
class. Anita read the words and decided right then and there that these beautiful words needed to be put into song. I think
you'll agree when you listen to the Schamante Sisters, Anita and Tina, along with the brilliant arrangement of Mark Heckert,
on "A Silent Night in Bethlehem." Enjoy and have a Merry Christmas!

A Personal Message:
are extremely proud of our dad for writing such beautiful words. Some 60 years later, Anita put to a melody
and sings in pure voice with sister, Tina (harmony & background vocals). The majestic accompaniment and
arrangement is the talents of Mark Heckert, who also engineered and produced at his studio, Digiscore Productions.
It was presented to Dad (JR) on Christmas day 2007. The awesome artwork was done by our dear cousin,
Rick Utykanski. Truly, a family project!!!
have contributed their gifts and talents and we believe it was through the Holy Spirit that this became the song that it is.
This site was created in response to our song and continues to be under contstruction.
We are grateful to
Kevin O'Neill-WNIC, Shelly Johnson-Suburban Lifestyle Magazine, Sandra Newman- Borders of Rochester and Annette Kingsbury-O&E
Rochester for their kindness and generous support.
Thank you, everyone for
listening and making it part of your Christmas music collection.
John, Anita, Tina & Mark.
